‘WCB Open Meeting - Come & Ask Us Anything’

We’re holding our next ‘WCB Open Meeting - Come & Ask Us Anything’ zoom event at 20:00, for 1hr, on 29th January 2026.  A host of WCB Holders will be there to answer any questions.  Alana - WCB Founder - will also be present and will be getting the ‘questions’ ball rolling by inviting WCB Holders to briefly give their opinion on the lack of wildlife rescue government regulation & why that has led to them becoming WCB Holders.  Alana will also be asking them questions on how they developed their own relationships with local Vet Practices, to start working together to help wildlife.

We’ll be inviting anyone who attends the meeting as a guest to find out…

• Why the WCB thinks - really, why WCB Holders themselves think - that self regulation of the industry is important.

[We also think that it could be especially important for Veterinary Professionals to attend this event, to find out how, in an unregulated industry, they can confidently choose which local Rescues to pass animals to.]

• What each WCB Holder thinks that the benefits of self regulation to Wildlife Carers (Rehabbers & Veterinary Professionals) and especially wildlife can be.

• Why have WCB Holders chosen to get the WCB and voluntarily prove their standards?
